Lend a hand to help families, older people and those in need of GIFT’s support.
Helping Hand volunteers give their time either regularly or occasionally to help families with informal childcare and household tasks. We have dozens of people who would value your support; you can make their day! GIFT would provide any necessary training including safeguarding. Each household is DBS-checked and visited by us prior to assigning them a volunteer.

I love working on Helping Hand with GIFT because it gives me so much joy seeing the difference I am making to a beautiful child's life. Just his smile and laughter alone make my day!
Volunteering has been amazing, a chance to help others and it has been a new experience. I have enjoyed every second of it and I love helping others. It's a time to give back and help others.
My experience taking part in Helping Hand was so special. Engaging and playing with the kids brought a smile to both my face and theirs. Helping Hand was a special part of every week that I looked forward to a lot.
