GIFT is excited to announce the launch of its new initiative: Thank GIFT It’s Sunday.
Following a sold-out series of pilot events, TGIS has become a permanent part of our volunteering programmes, engaging with children, parents and grandparents to inspire them to give and volunteer as a family.
The first set of events have seen dozens of people come together to pack food parcels for those in need; prepare nutritious soup for families supported by GIFT; assemble and decorate teddy bears for children in the care system; and get crafty with residents of a nursing home.

My children and I absolutely love the gift TGIS keeps us busy on a Sunday doing activities with and for the communityWe love the activities in SAGE Care Home, especially seeing the residents' faces lit up and they share the excitement of the activities with the children!
I have taken my 9-year-old daughter Chloe on several occasions to GIFT's TGIS sessions. They present an excellent opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their kids doing something selfless and meaningful. Kudos to the GIFT team for the excellent work they continue to do for the community and beyond!
