Volunteer to peel, chop, cook, pack or deliver hot meals to households in need!

The Giving Kitchen is our new, fast-growing initiative which supports those experiencing food poverty or health challenges in our community. Each week, two teams of volunteers meet to cook and deliver 300 fresh, nutritious meals to families across London. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers with any level of cooking experience who can give their time once a week to provide the gift of food to others.

  • Volunteering is about giving your heart, your time and in return getting the satisfaction of being a good human. Volunteering at The Giving Kitchen is the highlight of my week. We do good, we feel good and we have fun doing it.

  • The reason that I volunteer with so much love is that we are cooking for people in need, who we don't even know. It's a feeling of pure giving and doing something great for our community. I am so happy to be part of everything GIFT stands for.

  • It's most rewarding to be part of a team who devotes their spare time to come and cook for families in need. It inspires me to know that GIFT is making a huge impact on these families.
